House Number One:

I while back I said I was going to show the houses that I was hired to frame and It's been almost 6 months and I thought maybe I would start showing some pics. Here is the first one...It's a 1200 sq/ft bungalow with a walk out basement that was partially finished. Quite a bit of room in this house that looks small from the road.

It's a nice cozy looking house. Can we take out the snow in the picture and plant some palm trees on both sides. :-)

I'd love it if you could!! Ah...no snow and palm trees...it's been a very long winter...nice to hear from you, are you enjoying your new place?

Your house looks good...and I've heard a lot of unflattering comments on the prefabs as well. Is this house in the Gondola Point area? We had one built on Goldrush about 6 years ago....We're thinking it's time to do a significant addition this year. Any advice?

Hey Gord...Thanks for the comment...this house is at the bottom end of Queensbury Drive in Quispamsis...Some other ones I framed are on the opposite side of that house at the end of that street and two off of Brighton...Now on the advice part, without knowing what you are thinking about doing,it depends on how big the addition is, how much you spend on it and if it will raise the value of your house accordingly. Hopes that helps. If you have anymore questions email @ mcfcontractingservices@gmail.com

ps I have an Uncle named Gordon Ross, but he lives in the US...
